Kendy Gable war im Februar schon bei uns. Sie hat uns so entzückt, dass wir sie gleich noch einmal in den Garten holen mussten.
Kendy Gable is an American singer-songwriter with elegant vocals, Nick Drake-like guitar stylings and a writing style influenced by Leonard Cohen. Born and raised on a Guernsey cattle farm in Pennsylvania, Kendy’s songs deal with the stories and feelings of what is real and raw, but still beautiful.
Her third album, The Knowledge of the North Woods, weaves the fabric of a life rooted in the natural world. This album was written while living in New York's Catskill Mountains before moving to Berlin, Germany. In the mountains, there is longing, there is loving, there is light and there is darkness.
She has toured throughout the United States, Europe, Australia and Canada. The Knowledge of the North Woods, recorded at Outlier Inn Studios by Josh Druckman (Blonde Redhead, The Dig, Here We Go Magic) and co-produced by Adam Chilenski (Mikael Jorgenson (Wilco), Luke Temple (Here We Go Magic), Penguin Prison, Emilie Simon), is set to release in the spring of 2017.
